Cleaning instructions:
Wipe clean with damp cloth using soap, if needed. Do not place in washer or dryer.
Very high quality, versatile item that is helpful in treating a wide range of symptoms arising from the effects of leg length inequality.
Adjustable Heel Lift has also proved effective in the treatment of some foot and ankle conditions such as plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and Achilles tendonitis.
Instructions for use:
- With leather surface facing up, place lift inside heel of shoe.
- To adjust, peel off layers, as needed. Layers may be re-attached using rubber cement.
A top covering of suede leather completes the lift.
Made with three layers of extra firm, open cell foam rubber, each 1/8 inch thick, held together with double-sided adhesive.
As you would assume heel lifts are designed to relieve any type of discomfort you might experience due to one leg being shorter than the other one.
There are some conditions that might require heel lifts in both shoes.
- Low back pain, hip pain and knee pain are some of the more common conditions associated with leg length deficiencies.

Simple questions to ask yourself:
- When you stand or walk do you tire more quickly on one side or the other?
- Does your level of discomfort get worse after standing or walking? See figure 2
- Do you feel like you have lost muscle tone and walk with more of a “swing the leg” gait rather than lifting your leg evenly one side to the other?
Low Back Pain, Hip Pain, and Knee Pain
Simple questions to ask yourself:
- Do you feel like your rib cage and/or hips are forward on one side more than the other? See figure 3
- When someone stands behind you and observes you walking do they notice that your belt line or shoulders might not be
