Easy Connect DesignAn additional hook on the underside of this hummingbird feeder allows for multiple feeders to be connected from top to bottom, creating a decorative ‘vine’ of flowers. Use this feature to increase the number of hummingbirds that can feed utilizing the same amount of vertical space. |
Easy-Fill & CleanThis feeder has been expertly designed to allow disassembly for the most thorough cleaning. The top portion of the feeder can easily be lifted from the bottom dish to reveal a 7” wide opening – making it one of the easiest to fill on the market. All feeding ports and silicone gaskets can be removed from the feeder for cleaning. |
Built-In Ant MoatThis feeder features a built-in ant moat to deter these unwanted pests from reaching the nectar. Simply fill the cavity surrounding the hanging cable with water to prevent ants from reaching the feeding ports and accessing the sweet nectar. Be sure to check the moat often in hot weather as it may need to be refilled to remain effective. Clean the moat as needed to keep any dead ants from building up and creating a bridge across the moat for other ants. |
Bee Resistant DesignThe unique dome shape of the feeder lid creates a space between the feeding port opening and the nectar that is held in the base dish. A hummingbird’s tongue is roughly twice the length of the bird’s beak, allowing it to easily reach down into the bottom dish to the sweet nectar while bees and wasps have much shorter tongues and will be unable to reach the liquid. |
