Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) comes from a plant ed ‘Cinnamomum Zeylanicum blume’ which is indigenous to Sri Lanka. So, true to its name, Ceylon Cinnamon cannot originate from elsewhere in the world. True Ceylon cinnamon which is indigenous to Sri Lanka is mainly grown in the coastal regions of Sri Lanka.
