Strawberry Mojito with Flake Sea Salt Recipe
Enjoy this delicious cocktail recipe featuring our Luxury Flake Sea Salt!
- To create the Strawberry Simple Syrup, combine 8 ounces of sliced, cleaned strawberries (stems removed), 1 cup of water, and 1 cup of granulated sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce it to a simmer, cooking on low for about 15 to 20 minutes. Strain out the strawberries and let the simple syrup cool.
- For the Mojito, begin by rimming a 16-ounce glass (or two 8-ounce glasses for 2 servings) with lime juice and a touch of My Fabulous Food’s Flake Sea Salt. Into the glass, place 4 fresh strawberries (chopped), 4 lime wedges (reserving 1 for garnish), and 5 whole mint leaves (reserving 1 for garnish). Add 1 1/2 ounces of the prepared Strawberry Simple Syrup, followed by 2 ounces of white rum and ice. Top off the mixture with club soda and give it a gentle stir.
