Obsidian is a volcanic glass created when lava erupts from a volcano with certain conditions. Pure obsidian is dark, but impurities can result in dark green, brown, black, and gray coloring. Other impurities result in stones known as snowflake obsidian, golden obsidian and rainbow obsidian.

you may know that the original obsidian is quite large for one piece, nearly hundreds of kilograms. Generally, we will manually break or cut the raw stone, but breaking the raw stone will lead to a lot of waste of the raw stone, and the weight of the knocked out stone varies greatly. So sometimes we have to cut it into small pieces with auxiliary tool like a slice tool and it will leave traces of cutting.
