Our Mango Butter is sourced in India, the largest mango producing country in the world. Mango Butter is expeller pressed from the kernel of the mango fruit. It is then mechaniy refined to remove its characteristic pungent odor. Unrefined/Raw mango butter, even though some companies claim to offer it to attract consumers, does not exist for sale as a cosmetic butter – if it did, you could easily recognize it by its pungent odor and will most likely not want it on your body.
