When Katerina Mountanos founded Kosterina in 2016 her goal was simple: to share authentic Greek olive oil beyond the Mediterranean region. She teamed up with farmers in the Peloponnese region of Greece to begin the meticulous process of producing early-harvest, cold-pressed EVOO. EVOO is a timeless super ingredient that Kosterina has perfected by combining traditional and modern Mediterranean flavors with superior health benefits. -
How did we get our start?
In 2016, Katerina Mountanos started Kosterina after years of enjoying EVOO pressed from our families’ olive trees in Southern Greece. We could never find a proper substitute here in the States for the fresh, delicious Greek EVOO we knew and loved, so we partnered with farmers in the region to develop a premium, delicious Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
