What is Wheatgrass Extract?
The only active ingredient in all Dr Wheatgrass products is “Wheatgrass Extract”.
According to a study performed by a group of Indian scientists (Kulkarni et. al.) in 2006, the scientists found antioxidant levels of wheatgrass extract were:
- Highest at the end of the growing period (15 days).
- Up to 30% higher in alcohol-extracted solutions compared with freshly juiced wheatgrass.
- Highest in soil with nutrients.
- Higher than many natural extracts and vegetables.
