How did we get our start?
In 1864, a talented gymnast by the name of Moritz Ganzoni-Sträuli founded the company that is known today as SIGVARIS GROUP. With four weaving looms in Switzerland, we began perfecting the art and science of elastics. In 1959, with the help of phlebologist Karl Sigg, we developed and presented the medical compression stocking which has been our passion ever since.
