It has a calming and soothing effect on the stomach and can possibly help to reduce gas. – There is no toxicity in Spearmint so it is an excellent herb to use for even the sickest person. – Hot tea brewing method: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 teaspoon for each cup into the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot.
