The Rarest Cacao
In the chocolate world, there are many varieties and qualities of cacao. We use the highest quality heirloom Arriba Nacional cacao which is extremely special and comprises less than 1% of all cacao production in the world.
Special Trees and Special Soil
This elite quality organic raw cacao is made using only pure Ecuadorian Arriba Nacional cacao beans carefully selected and procured from Ecuador, grown in high elevation volcanic soil. The trees are at least 30 years old and some are older than 80 years!

Raw By Nature
The cacao is never heated above 118° to protect the integrity of all heat sensitive compounds which would be destroyed above that temperature. Small batches and careful processing allow us to keep this cacao free of mold and mycotoxins. (Verified by 3rd party labs.)
